Clear skies, salty breezes, and the gentle sounds of the waves created the perfect backdrop on the 9th Street Boardwalk in Deerfield Beach. As the first notes of "Ave Maria" sounded, guests - from near and far - arrived and began to take their seats.
Referred to us by Tasha, a mutual friend, Rachael had requested a string trio - violin, viola, and cello - for her ceremony. She preferred a combination of classical and contemporary music, and knew that she wanted to walk down the aisle to "Hallelujah" by Rufus Wainwright. Though we didn't have that song in our repertoire, I assured Rachael that our arranger Abraham would be able to create a special string trio rendition.
Rachael's choices for the prelude included "Ave Maria" (Schubert), "Arioso" (Bach), "The Four Seasons" (Vivaldi), "Simple Gifts" (Traditional), and "The Last Rose of Summer" (Traditional Irish Air.)

Officiating the special ceremony was the father of the groom. "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" (Bach) was the musical selection for the bridal party. As the first notes of "Hallelujah" began, Rachael - who looked stunning in her gorgeous wedding dress - walked down the aisle.
This was an especially meaningful day for the sweet couple, who were delighted to share it with cherished family and friends. Their sentiments are perfectly captured in this touching message in the program fan:
"A SPECIAL THANKS TO OUR PARENTS. WITHOUT YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT WE WOULDN’T BE THE PEOPLE WE ARE TODAY. THANK YOU FOR SHOWING US WHAT LOVE AND MARRIAGE TRULY MEAN AND SERVING AS AMAZING ROLE MODELS FOR US BOTH. WE LOVE YOU MORE THAN WE COULD EVER EXPRESS."
For their recessional, the couple chose "Ode to Joy" (Beethoven). And what a joyful day it was!
